ISL for Source Non-Perpendicular

Footcandles = Candelas X Cos ß/Ft2.

If the source and point are not perpendicular, the equation changes slightly to read

illuminance equals candelas times the cosine of beta divided by the square of the distance between the source and the point.

A trig table or calculator with trig functions would be very helpful in quickly solving these problems.
